Have noticed a clump of mold/black powder outside our bedroom window. This week noticed a black powdery residue behind the floor board in our bedroom. House was flooded 4 1/2' in August 2007 but had clean up and make sure everything was dry and treated before enclosing. Would like a confirmation and an estimate that it is mold and how much it would cost to completely remove.

Visible mold in basement, not black mold. No dehunidifier has been used. Clothing, cardboard boxes have been stored on the basement floors and shelving for 7+ years without movement or cleaning. Built our home in 2004. Found ants coming from wall near tub, sprayed and opened wall and found black mold. Called builder who stated it was from grout in shower that has fallen out. Builder refusing to fix. Wife has been having trouble breathing, and have a 6 year old with a bad cough.
